With a collective experience of some sixty years in and around the transport industry of the North West of England, the Merseybus LTD enterprise is the exciting continued venture of Simon Gates, and Terry Curry.

 

The Fareway bus company of Liverpool ran services between 1987 and 1993 before finally giving way to MTL in 1997, and later, Merseybus.

 

It was here where the decades long journey began.

 

After eight years served, it was time for a change that would come in the way of a move to a then relatively small bus company called Comfy Bus, which over a period of 22 years of nurture, seen a growth from just 4 buses, to 114.

 

Operating out of Southport, Aintree, Kirkby and Birkenhead, Comfy Bus enjoyed a great spell and established itself as one of the leading companies in the UK.
